What We Believe

New Hope Church International is a Word based,family focused and vibrant church in the heart of london that is making a positive impact in peoples lives for God.

OUR CORE BELIEFS:

THE BIBLE
The bible is the inspired word of God, Gods revelation to man kind (2Tim3;16-17, 1Pet2.2)

GOD
There is one true God who has revealed himself as the I AM and further as God The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy6.4; Mark12.29; Isaiah43:10-11; Mathew28:19)

MAN
Man is created in the likeness and image of god, but through Adam’s transgression and fall, sin came into the world. “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Jesus Christ, the son of God, was manifested to undo the works of the devil and gave his life and shed his blood to redeem and restore man back to God. (Rom5:12, Rom3:23, Rom3.10, 1John3.8)

SALVATION
The grace of God, which brings salvation, has appeared to all men, through the preaching of repentance towards God and faith in Jesus Christ. (Rom5:12, Rom3:23, Rom3:10, 1John3:8)

THE CHURCH
The Church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit. Each believer born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the church of Jesus (Ephesians1:22-23;2:22, Hebrews12.23)

BAPTISM
Is observed by those who have repented and in their hearts believed in Christ as Saviour and Lord. It is an outward symbol of an inside cleansing. Thus declaring to the world that they have died with Jesus and they have also been raised with him to walk in newness of life. (Mathew28:19, Acts10.47-48, Acts20.21, Hebrews10:22)

BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
All born again believers are entitled to the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit.
This is distinct and different to the experience of the new birth.
Acts19.1-6, Acts10.44-46,
This is evidenced by speaking in tongues(Acts2.4)

HEALING
Healing is for physical ills of the human body. It is made available by the power of God through the prayer of faith and the laying on of hands. Healing is available to all who believe
(Mark16.18, James5.14-20, 1Peter2.24, Mathew8.17, Isaiah53.4-5

THE RESURRECTION
The resurrection of those who die in Christ, their translation with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord. This is the blessed hope of the Church. (1Thessalonians4:16-17, 1Corinthians15.51-52, Romans8.23)

HELL
Once one dies without Christ he is eternally separated from God and awaits Judgement. (Hebrews9.27, Revelation20.13-14

HEAVEN
According to his promise there is a new heaven, and a new earth wherein dwells righteousness
(2Peter3.13, Revelation21.1).
